Hyundai PDI checklist
Hyundai cars are often feature-heavy - sunroofs, ADAS, connected tech. That means a few extra things to test at delivery on top of the universal checklist.
Hyundai's popular India lineup includes the Creta, Venue, i20, Verna, Exter and Alcazar, often loaded with features on higher trims. The base inspection is the same as any car - see the complete PDI guide - but feature-rich cars give you more to verify.
The core checklist still applies
- VIN, engine and chassis numbers match across the car and documents
- Manufacturing date recent; odometer under ~50 km
- Paint, panel gaps, interior, engine bay, tyres, fluids and a test drive
Worth extra attention on a Hyundai
- Sunroof - open/close/tilt fully, listen for rattles, check it seals and the drainage isn't blocked
- ADAS (on equipped trims) - confirm the driver-assist features are present and warning-light-free; verify what your variant is meant to include
- Connected-car / Bluelink - check the infotainment, connected features and app pairing work
- Variant features - ventilated seats, wireless charging, cameras: tick off everything your trim should have
Frequently asked questions
What extra things should I check on a Hyundai at delivery?
Beyond the universal PDI, test the sunroof through its full range, confirm ADAS features on equipped trims, and check connected-car/Bluelink and infotainment. Verify every feature your specific variant is supposed to include.
How do I check a sunroof during PDI?
Open, close and tilt it through the full range, listen for rattles or grinding, confirm it seals properly, and make sure the drainage channels aren't blocked.
